Each is a 4-week workshop
By the end of these workshops, students will be able to identify the twelve stages of the Hero’s Journey in popular fiction and film and learn how to recognize and implement the stages in their own writing.

From concept to contract, the best proposals not only sell your book, they also help shape your work. Whether your book is still in the idea stage or you’ve written your first draft, this two-part course will help you clearly communicate why your baby deserves to be a book.

Discovery Through Journaling (5-week workshop)
Journaling is where your creative work begins. The ideas, the thoughts, the dreams and the emotions that swim inside of you find peace on the blank page and open up room for your creative expression. In this course we will introduce you to ways in which you can delve into your own self - ways in which you can release creative energy and make room for creative expression while learning to deal with emotions and issues that hold you back.

The Everything Guide to Writing a Novel (4-week workshop)
At the end of this 4-week course students will come away with a better knowledge of how to compete in the world of fiction. These successful authors teach and coach how to craft a novel from idea to income.

By the end of this interactive class, students will have mastered Gothic elements and the techniques Gothic writers use to heighten suspense and keep readers turning the pages, and will have also learned how to transfer this knowledge into their chosen genre or, if they wish, to start writing their own Gothic novels. In addition, they’ll have a solid grasp of the evolution of Gothics into many of the modern genres of today.
